Ceramic pots and pans: smooth cooking without PFAS
Cook & Pan ceramic pots and pans have a smooth ceramic non-stick coating on a light aluminium body. Your egg slides right out, your sauce does not catch and a drop of oil is all you need. Without PFAS, PTFE or any other synthetic coating, so you never have to wonder what is in your pan.
Prefer stainless steel with the same ceramic coating? Take a look at our Honey line.
What exactly is a ceramic pan?
A ceramic pan is not made of stone or earthenware. It is a pan with a ceramic non-stick coating: a layer of silicon oxide, a mineral also found in sand and glass. That layer is applied to the pan at high temperature and cured into a smooth, hard finish. No plastic and no polymer, so nothing from the coating ends up in your food.

Who is a ceramic pan for?
For anyone who cooks every day and wants a pan that is light, heats up quickly and stays easy to clean. Ceramic pans are at their best on a low to medium setting. Often searing at full power? Then a stainless steel or cast iron pan is a better fit.
Ceramic pans for induction and every other hob
All our ceramic pans have a magnetic base and work on induction, gas, ceramic and electric hobs. Cooking on induction? Take a look at our overview of pots and pans for induction as well.
How to keep your ceramic pans smooth for longer
A ceramic coating is hard, but it does not like shocks. Cook on a low to medium setting, use a wooden or silicone spatula and let your pan cool for a moment before rinsing. Preferably wash it by hand with a soft sponge, and put a cloth between your pans when you stack them.
How long do ceramic pans last?
Our ceramic pans come with a 7-year warranty on manufacturing and material defects and a 2-year warranty on the performance of the ceramic coating. With the right care, you will be cooking with them for much longer. Want to feel whether they suit you first? You get 60 days of try-cooking.
Frequently asked questions about ceramic pans
Is there PFAS in ceramic pans?
No. Our ceramic coating contains no PFAS, PFOA or PTFE. Want to see the full PFAS-free range, including stainless steel and cast iron? Take a look at our PFAS-free pans.
What is the difference between a ceramic pan and a Teflon pan?
Teflon is PTFE, a plastic coating from the PFAS family. A ceramic pan has a mineral layer of silicon oxide, without PFAS or any other synthetic polymers.
Do ceramic pans work on induction?
Yes. All our ceramic pans have a magnetic base and work on every hob.
Can ceramic pans go in the dishwasher?
They can, but washing by hand keeps the ceramic coating looking good for longer.
Why does my ceramic pan stick?
Usually the heat is too high, or there is a thin layer of burnt-on fat on the base. Cook on a medium setting and clean the pan thoroughly with warm water and a soft sponge.
Can I try ceramic pans first?
Yes. You get 60 days of try-cooking. If they turn out not to suit you, just let us know.
