What is PFAS and why is it harmful?

PFAS stands for poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances, a group of chemicals that were used for years in non-stick coatings. The problem: they do not break down in nature and accumulate in your body. Research links PFAS to hormone disruption, liver damage, and a weakened immune system. That’s why we consciously choose a coating without a single PFAS particle.

Are your products really free of PFAS and other toxins?

Yes, and we have that independently tested. Our ceramic coating is completely free of PFAS, PFOA, PTFE, lead, and cadmium, and certified according to FDA and LFGB standards. You don’t have to take our word for it: check out the lab results for the full independent test report.

Do I need oil to cook?

Much less than you're used to. A few drops or a small knob of butter is usually enough, and in many cases, you can even skip it entirely. That not only saves calories but is also much healthier for your heart. Want to add extra flavor to your dish? Then a little fat is just right. You choose, your pan works with both.

At which heat setting should I cook?

Low to medium-high. Our pots and pans conduct heat so efficiently that setting 5 or 6 (on a scale of 9) is almost always enough. Turning it higher burns your food and damages the coating. For induction: never go above 80% and avoid the boost function.

What makes your coating different, and what is it made of?

Our coating is made from minerals found in nature, like sand and quartz, and aluminum oxide (the same material as in sapphires and rubies). No synthetic substances, no PFAS, no PFOA, no PTFE. It doesn’t release anything into your food, even at high temperatures. And there’s one more thing: we deliberately chose a coating that’s just a bit less smooth than usual. That way, meat and vegetables get that golden-brown crust you miss with a Teflon pan.

Does this pan work on induction?

Yes, on all cooktops: induction, gas, ceramic, halogen, and electric. One tip for induction: set it to a maximum of 80% power and don’t use the boost function. Our pots and pans conduct heat so well that you don’t need it at all, and it also prevents warping and hotspots.

Can my pan go in the oven?

Yes, but watch the handle. Pots and pans with a stainless steel handle can go up to 280°C, pots and pans with a wood-look (bakelite) handle up to 180°C. Ideal for dishes that start on the stove and finish in the oven, like a steak or a frittata.

Can I put my pan in the dishwasher?

Yes, the pan is dishwasher safe. Prefer to wash it by hand? A quick hand wash with a soft sponge and some dish soap is faster, takes hardly any effort, and keeps the coating looking great for longer. If you choose the dishwasher, avoid aggressive all-in-one tablets and the eco mode.

How do I get the best non-stick effect from my pan?

Three things.

Cook on low to medium heat, never on the highest setting. The coating works best if you let it warm up gently.
Use wooden or silicone utensils, no steel or sharp edges.
Be patient with sticky dishes like fried eggs. Is your food starting to stick? Wait 30 seconds, then it will release on its own.

This way, your non-stick performance stays like new for years.

How does the 60-day trial cooking period work?

You can try any pan for 60 days, even if you’ve already used it a few times. Feel free to cook with it and see if it suits you. Not satisfied? Return it within 60 days in the original box through our return portal, and you’ll get your money back within a few days. A few signs of use are no problem.

How long is the warranty?

We offer a 7-year warranty on all our aluminum pots and pans against manufacturing and material defects. On top of that, the ceramic non-stick coating comes with a 2-year warranty on its performance. The fact that we dare to offer these terms says a lot about how long we expect your pan to last.

Nog nooit zo'n fijne pannen gehad en ook nog eens mooi om te zien. Stevige handgrepen, glazen deksels die ook op de bakpannen passen. Weinig olie of boter nodig en zo gemakkelijk schoon te maken. Heel blij met deze prachtige set.

Mijn eerste complete pannenset

Voor mijn 50e verjaardag voor het eerst van mijn leven een complete pannenset. Deze is het waard!. Door de lochte kleur van de Ivory set krijgt mijn keuken een mooie nieuwe look. Geen aparte pan meer nodig voor suddervlees, koele handvaten., wordt snel heet, makkelijk schoonmaken en ook goed te hanteren voor mensen die niet veel kracht hebben. Even aanleren dat je niet begint met hoog vuur maar dat is een kwestie van een nieuwe gewoonte. Ik ben er blij mee!

Super pannen! De Signature Pannenset 9-delig gekocht. Dag later netjes en stevig verpakt thuis gekregen. Pannen zien er strak en fijn uit. Water koken op inductie gaat perfect. Pannen zijn zo heet en water kookt perfect. Zeer blij mee! Goede grip, mooi design en niet zwaar. Gewoon perfect! Echte aanrader!

Super fijn lichtgewicht

Ik wil nooit meer anders

De pannen van Cook&Pan gebruik ik nu ruim een maand en ik kan eerlijk zeggen dat ik nooit meer anders wil. Wat mij het meest opvalt, is de uitstekende bakkwaliteit in combinatie met het gemak waarmee alles weer schoon wordt. Dat is voor mij echt de perfecte balans.
Of het nu gaat om een stoofgerecht dat uren mag sudderen, een perfect gebakken ossenhaas, knapperige gebakken aardappeltjes of pannenkoeken: alles lukt beter en constanter dan met de pannen die ik hiervoor had.
Ook de braadpan verdient een speciale vermelding. Stoofgerechten garen gelijkmatig en blijven mooi sappig.
De kwaliteit van deze pannen is duidelijk merkbaar bij elk gerecht dat ik maak.
Heel blij met deze aankoop! En de kleur is ook nog eens mooi en origineel.
