A cast iron pan is an investment in a piece of cookware that lasts a lifetime. On this page you will find the complete Cook & Pan cast iron range: dutch ovens, a frying pan and heart-shaped 2-in-1 dutch ovens. Looking only for classic round dutch ovens to compare? Then go to dutch oven.
Why choose cast iron?
Cast iron locks in heat and releases it gently and evenly. It sears beautifully without any coating and works on every hob, including induction. Well cared for, a cast iron pan lasts for generations, and ours is covered by a 25-year warranty.
Which shape suits you?
- Cast iron dutch oven (24 or 28 cm) for stewing, simmering and oven bakes.
- Cast iron frying pan (20 cm) for steaks, eggs and small dishes where you want a strong crust.
- Heart-shaped 2-in-1 cast iron dutch oven as an original gift idea, also usable as a regular dutch oven.
Solid cast iron with enamel
Our pans are made from solid cast iron with an enamel layer inside and out. The enamel protects the cast iron from rust, makes maintenance easy and prevents acidic dishes (like tomato sauce) from picking up an iron taste.
Works on every hob
Gas, ceramic, electric, halogen and induction: cast iron works everywhere. On induction the magnetic base makes direct contact, with no heat loss.
PFAS-free by material choice
Cast iron with enamel contains no PFAS, PFOA or PTFE. No non-stick coating also means no worries about scratches or flaking at high temperatures.
25-year warranty
We offer a 25-year warranty on manufacturing defects in the cast iron. On top of that you get a 60-day trial cook: if the pan does not suit you, it goes back.
Care
Wash by hand, dry straight away and rub with plant oil now and then. Not in the dishwasher. No cold water in a hot pan because of thermal shock. With the right care your pan stays in top shape for generations.
