How do I ensure a long lifespan?

To extend the life of your pan, proper maintenance is essential. Our pans conduct heat optimally, so heat them over low to medium heat. This will also save you considerably on energy. Avoid sudden temperature fluctuations and avoid heating them quickly. Hand washing is recommended, and it's a good idea to store the pan lightly oiled to maintain a high-performance non-stick coating.

How do I ensure the best non-stick performance?

Our non-stick coatings are exceptional! But with these tricks, you'll get the most out of your pan: Grease: Heat a teaspoon of oil in the pan and then let it cool. Remove any excess oil and dry the pan thoroughly. This promotes accelerated maturation of the pan and optimizes the performance of the non-stick coating. Reduce heat. Our frying pan is designed to maximize heat efficiency compared to traditional pans. We recommend using a slightly lower heat setting than usual. Patience. When preparing sticky culinary items, such as eggs, patience is the key to achieving a superb fried egg without using butter or oil. A moderate heat is essential, followed by undisturbed cooking. Avoid repeatedly moving the food with the spatula. If the food shows any adhesion to the non-stick coating, this usually indicates that some waiting time is necessary for full heat distribution, cooking, or browning. Only after this stage is it easier to remove from the pan.

Don't I need to use oil in the pan?

In principle, you need little to no oil in our non-stick pans. Our customers use 90% less oil in a Cook & Pan pan, so you cook much healthier and more sustainably. However, in some cases, oil or butter adds more flavor to a dish or is an integral part of the dish.

What does a ceramic non-stick coating mean?

Ceramic pans are pans with a ceramic coating or non-stick coating. They are made of ceramic, a material often made from fired clay. Ceramic offers the advantage of being heat-resistant and more resistant to wear and tear. The natural ceramic coating is applied to the pan and then baked in the oven, hardening it and providing a superior non-stick effect. This is 100% free of toxic substances such as PFAS or Teflon.

How long is the warranty?

We offer a 7-year warranty on your Cook and Pan product against manufacturing and material defects. However, the warranty for the ceramic non-stick coating is limited to two years from the date of purchase. This warranty is valid when you use the product for domestic purposes and according to our instructions, such as heating the pan over a low to medium heat to prevent warping. Defects resulting from improper use are not considered manufacturing or material defects. The same applies to normal wear and tear, such as discoloration and scratches.
