Our non-stick coatings are extremely good! But with these tricks, you get the most out of your pan:
Oiling: Heat a teaspoon of oil in the pan and then let it cool down. Remove the excess oil and dry the pan thoroughly. This speeds up the seasoning process of the pan and optimizes the performance of the non-stick coating.
Limit heat input. Our frying pan is designed to maximize heat efficiency compared to traditional pots and pans. We advise you to set the heat source level a bit lower than usual.
Patience. When preparing sticky dishes, like eggs, patience is key to getting a perfectly fried egg without using butter or oil. Moderate heat is essential, followed by undisturbed cooking. Avoid moving the food repeatedly with the spatula. When the food shows some sticking to the non-stick coating, this usually means some waiting time is needed for full heat distribution, cooking, or searing. Only after this phase is removal from the pan easier.
