Frequently Asked Questions
How does the 60-day trial cooking work?
How long is the warranty?
Our cast iron pans come with a 25-year warranty. Yep, twenty-five. That's almost longer than your kitchen cabinets last.
You're also in good hands with the rest of our collection:
You get a 7-year warranty on your Cook & Pan product against manufacturing and material defects.
The ceramic non-stick coating? It continues to do its job for up to 2 years after purchase – as long as you treat it gently.
Do you just use your pan at home and not put it on a flamethrower? Then you're safe. Normal wear and tear like scratches or discoloration are part of it. But things like warping from too high a heat? Unfortunately, that's not covered.

Is the non-stick coating free of toxic substances?
Yes! We have developed our own ceramic non-stick coating that is 100% free ofPFAS.

How do I return my product?
Not satisfied? Damaged upon receipt? Or only notice a defect later? Whatever the problem – we make it easy. Below you will find what you can do and when:
1. Direct damage or incorrect product
Did you receive a damaged item or is your order incorrect? Then report it within 3 business days of delivery via our returns portal.
We will then take over. We usually respond within 1-2 business days.
2. Warranty – something turns out to be wrong later
Our products are made to last for years. Has something still gone wrong that is not your fault? Then you're covered for up to 7 years with us.
Parts with a ceramic non-stick coating (such as some pans) come with a 2-year warranty on that coating. Not every product has such a coating – think of spatula sets or glass lids – so we keep it fair and clear per product.
Our warranty applies to normal household use. This means: cooking on low to medium heat, and a little care for your cookware. That way, it will stay beautiful and delicious for as long as it does.
Do you have a problem that is covered by the warranty? Report it via our returns portal or send us an email. We'll be happy to resolve it with you.
3. Simply not a match? Return within 60 days
Not in love with your pan after all? That's possible. You can return your product up to 60 days after receipt – even if you have tried it on once or twice.
So signs of use are okay, as long as the product is still in good condition. You can arrange returns via our returns portal.
Return conditions
For a quick refund, we ask that you submit your return neat and complete:
- Product is (mostly) undamaged and complete
- Packed in the original box
- No written or signed text on the packaging
- You indicate in the returns portal why you are returning it
As soon as we have received and approved your return, we will refund you as soon as possible. This is usually possible within a few days.
How do I ensure a long lifespan?
To extend the lifespan of your pan, proper maintenance is essential. Our pans conduct heat optimally, so heat them on a low to medium heat. This will also save you considerably on energy.
Avoid sudden temperature changes and avoid rapid heating. Hand washing is recommended, and it is a good idea to store the pan lightly oiled to maintain a well-functioning non-stick coating.
How do I ensure the best non-stick performance?
Our non-stick coatings are extremely good! But with these tricks, you can get the most out of your pan:
- Greasuring: Heat a teaspoon of oil in the pan and then let it cool. Remove the excess oil and dry the pan thoroughly. This promotes an accelerated maturation process of the pan and optimizes the performance of the non-stick coating.
- Reduce heat. Our frying pan is designed to maximize heat efficiency compared to traditional pans. We recommend you reduce the heat source level slightly.
- Patience. When preparing sticky culinary preparations, such as eggs, patience is the key to success. To obtain an excellent fried egg in a medium heat, followed by undisturbed cooking, use a spatula without using butter or oil. Avoid repeatedly moving the food with the spatula. If the food shows any adhesion to the non-stick coating, this usually indicates that some waiting time is necessary for full heat distribution, cooking, or browning. Only after this stage is it easier to remove from the pan.
