Induction pans worthy of your hob
Induction heats the cooking surface directly instead of the plate beneath it. Faster than gas, more efficient than electric. But that only works if your pans can keep up. All our induction pans have an integrated magnetic base, harnessing the magnetic field optimally. No heat loss, no half-cooked edges, no buzzing from your hob.
Which pans work on induction?
You recognise an induction pan by its magnetic base. If a magnet sticks to the bottom, it works on induction. At Cook & Pan that is always the case: every pan is induction-ready, regardless of material. Cast iron, 3-ply stainless steel or aluminium with ceramic non-stick coating, all with an integrated magnetic base and designed for stable heat conduction.
The full induction range at a glance
Induction pans work best when they complement each other. Our induction collections:
- Frying pan for induction, the basis for daily cooking
- Wok pan for induction, high sides and rapid heat
- Casserole for induction, for stews and long cooking sessions
- Saute pan for induction, mid-height sides and multipurpose
- Stockpot for induction, for pasta, soup and vegetables
- Saucepan for induction, for sauces, milk and small portions
Or build a complete set
Prefer to sort it all in one go? A complete induction pan set usually contains 3 to 7 pieces, sized for an average household. More affordable than buying individual pans, and stylistically a unit.
PFAS-free, no exceptions
In our entire induction range there is no pan with PFAS, PFOA or comparable fluoropolymers. We work only with ceramic non-stick coatings on aluminium, seasoned cast iron and high-grade stainless steel. Prefer the full PFAS-free overview? Browse the PFAS-free pans selection.
Material choice: what fits your style?
- Aluminium with ceramic non-stick coating: light in weight, smooth non-stick, ideal for daily cooking with little oil. See the pans with ceramic coating.
- Cast iron: retains heat, perfect for steaks and stews.
- 3-ply stainless steel: quick response, scratch-resistant, virtually unlimited lifespan.
How to check if your hob is compatible
Almost every modern induction hob recognises our pans automatically once they sit on the zone. For maximum efficiency choose a pan with a diameter close to the zone size. Pans that are too small are not always picked up by zone detection, and oversized pans waste energy on cold edges.
Works on gas, ceramic and electric too
An induction pan is not just for induction. They work just as well on gas, ceramic and ordinary electric hobs. Handy when you move house, cook on holiday, or visit family.
Easy maintenance
Induction pans need little: hand-wash with a soft sponge and the base stays nicely flat. Flat bases are crucial on induction, so be careful with sharp temperature swings straight after cooking. No cold water on a glowing-hot pan.
