To extend the life of your pan, proper maintenance is essential. Our pans conduct heat optimally, so heat them on low to medium heat. This also saves you a significant amount of energy. Avoid sudden temperature changes and rapid heating. Hand washing is recommended, and it's good to store the pan lightly oiled to maintain a well-performing non-stick coating.

Our non-stick coatings are extremely good! But with these tricks, you'll get the most out of your pan: Greasing: Heat a teaspoon of oil in the pan and then let it cool. Remove the excess oil and dry the pan thoroughly. This promotes an accelerated seasoning process of the pan and optimizes the performance of the non-stick coating. Limit heat input. Our frying pan is designed to maximize heat efficiency compared to traditional pans. We advise you to set the heat source level slightly lower than normal. Patience. When preparing sticky culinary preparations, such as eggs, patience is the key to success for obtaining a superbly fried egg without the use of butter or oil, moderate heat is essential, followed by undisturbed cooking. Avoid repeatedly moving the food with the spatula. When the food shows any adhesion to the non-stick coating, this usually suggests that some waiting time is necessary for complete heat distribution, cooking or searing. Only after this phase is removal from the pan facilitated.

In principle, you hardly need to use any oil in our pan with a non-stick coating. Our customers use 90% less oil in a Cook and Pan pan, so you cook much healthier and more sustainably. However, in some cases, oil or butter adds more flavor to a dish or is part of the dish.

Ceramic pans are pans with a ceramic coating or non-stick coating. They are made of ceramic, which is a material often made from baked clay. Ceramic has the advantage that it is heat-resistant and more resistant to wear. The layer of natural ceramic is applied to the pan and then placed in the oven, which hardens it and creates a superior non-stick effect. This is 100% free of toxic substances such as PFAS or Teflon.

We offer a 7-year warranty on your Cook and Pan product against manufacturing and material defects. However, the warranty for the ceramic non-stick coating is limited to two years from the date of purchase. This warranty is valid when you use the product for household purposes and according to our instructions, such as heating the pan on low to medium heat to prevent warping. Defects resulting from improper use are not covered under manufacturing and material defects. The same applies to normal wear and tear, such as discoloration and scratches.
