Casserole pot 20 cm for every household

The casserole pot, with a diameter of 20 cm, is great for preparing meals for two people. At Cook and Pan, we use our ceramic non-stick coating in all our casserole pots, which is free from PFAS and Teflon. This non-stick coating not only promotes excellent cooking performance but also a healthier and more user-friendly cooking experience.

Within the diverse assortment of Cook and Pan, we also offer dutch ovens. However, it is important to know that these dutch ovens with an enamel non-stick coating are not available under our own brand. Still, these pots and pans are available in our assortment.

Differences between a ceramic non-stick coating and an enamel non-stick coating:

  • Hardness and Durability

Ceramic: Strong and can resist scratches, but preferably not used with metal spatulas etc.
Enamel: More sensitive to scratches and may lose small pieces with heavy use.

  • Cooking performance

Ceramic: Good non-stick performance, even heat distribution.
Enamel: Good non-stick performance, retains heat well.

  • Heat resistance

Ceramic: Can withstand higher temperatures, suitable for oven use.
Enamel: Can be damaged more easily, may crack with extreme temperature changes.

  • Maintenance

Ceramic: Requires careful maintenance to prevent scratches. Dishwasher safe.
Enamel: Easier to clean and maintain, but still requires care.

What is the best size casserole pot?

The ideal size of a casserole pot depends on several things, including the number of people you are cooking for and the type of dishes you want to prepare. • 22 cm casserole pot

Suitable for: This size is suitable for small to medium households, usually 2 to 4 people.

What should you pay attention to when buying a casserole pot?

When buying a casserole pot, it is first important to check whether the pot contains any toxic substances, such as PFAS, PFAO, or Teflon. Then determine for how many people you will be cooking and what kind of dishes you want to prepare in the casserole pot. Based on this, choose the right size.
