So what IS in your pan?

Let's be honest

So what IS in your pan?

Everywhere you read what's not in it. That doesn't get you far when you're trying to choose.

Our coated pans are made of aluminium, because it conducts heat quickly and keeps the pan light. Your food never touches that aluminium: it's covered with a ceramic non-stick coating made of silicon oxide, the same mineral found in sand and glass. No plastic, no polymer, no PFAS, PFOA or PTFE. The Honey is 304 stainless steel, with that coating recessed between raised points of steel, so your spatula touches the steel. And cast iron is simply cast iron, with enamel around it.

Three materials, three jobs. Which one is yours depends on what's going wrong in your pan right now.

Fantastic colourful pans

I've completely fallen in love with them. They cheer me up every time I get them out. And they fry so nicely too, no more hassle with food sticking.

Let's do the maths

What does it really cost you?

A cookware set isn't a small expense, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. What does help: working out what you're spending now. Replace a cheap set every few years, and eight years on you're four sets down the line.

With your result you'll see exactly what your choice costs, what the pans would cost bought separately, and what that works out to per pan. One price, no hunting for a code.

A complete set is over 35% cheaper than the same pans bought separately
60-day trial, even if you've already cooked with them

Practical

What people ask us

Is aluminium with a ceramic coating safe?

The pan is made of aluminium, because it conducts heat quickly and keeps the pan light. Your food never touches that aluminium: it's covered with a ceramic non-stick coating made of silicon oxide, the same mineral found in sand and glass. No PFAS, no PFOA, no PTFE.

So what's the difference between ceramic and stainless steel?

Ceramic is light, heats up quickly and is the most affordable. Stir with wood or silicone, and let the pan cool down before you rinse it. The Honey is 304 stainless steel with the non-stick coating recessed between raised points of steel, so with this one you can stir with metal, it's dishwasher-safe and oven-safe up to 280 degrees.

Won't that non-stick coating just come off?

A non-stick coating doesn't last forever, and we'd rather tell you that straight away. The pan comes with a 7-year warranty, the performance of the ceramic coating with 2 years, and cast iron with 25 years. Wood or silicone keeps the coating in good shape the longest. Want a coating that can handle metal? Then choose the Honey.

Do they work on induction?

Yes. Cast iron and stainless steel are naturally suitable, and the aluminium pans have a ferromagnetic base plate built in. They work just as well on gas, ceramic and electric hobs.

I only use two pans. Do I need a whole set?

No. In the pan finder, under "what are you replacing", choose the frying pans or a single pan, and that's exactly what you'll see. No need to pay for cupboard filler.

And what if I don't like it after all?

Then you cook with it for 60 days and still send it back afterwards.
