What you will do

🔗 Supplier & Purchasing Management

• Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, especially in Asia.
• Negotiating prices and terms – you know what a good deal is.
• Managing purchase orders and ensuring smooth communication.

🚚 Logistics & Shipping

• Coordinating with freight forwarders for reliable and timely delivery.
• Proactively solving problems with delays or transport issues.

📦 Stock & Fulfillment

• Monitoring stock levels and adjusting where needed.
• Working with fulfillment partners to prevent stockouts.
• Predicting how demand develops – and responding smartly.

🤝 Cross-functional & Cost control

• Collaborating with Finance for sharp margins and healthy cash flow.
• Coordinating with Marketing & Sales for better forecasts.
• Using data to monitor supplier performance, stock, and shipping.

Who you are

• Experience with purchasing and supply chain, preferably in e-commerce.
• You have already done business in Asia and know the culture and dynamics.
• Strong in negotiating and relationship management.
• Commercially minded, thinks in opportunities and solutions.
• Flexible, stress-resistant, and keeps an overview in the chaos.

Your skills & mindset

• Result-oriented: You go for gold and don’t get easily discouraged.
• Analytical: Data makes your decisions smarter.
• Team player: You work smoothly with different teams and switch easily.
• Stress-resistant: You keep a cool head, even when the supply chain is stormy.

What we ask of you

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• HBO/WO work and thinking level (e.g. Supply Chain, Business Administration).
• Experience with tools like Excel, Exact, Shopify, BI tools or AI forecasting.
• Insight into budgets, inventory models, and cash flow.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
