Delicious fresh and airy plate cake, perfect when the weather starts to get a bit warmer. The great thing about plate cake is that it is very easy to make. You can make a plate cake completely to your liking and add your favorite delicacies to it. You can also combine a plate cake with several dishes.

Ingredients Plate cake Salmon (4 persons):
- 1 roll of fresh puff pastry or flamkuchen dough. Use the latter if you want your plate cake to be a bit firmer.
- 125 grams of herb cream cheese
- 100 grams of asparagus tips
- 1 egg yolk, for brushing
- 200 to 250 grams of salmon fillet, we love smoked salmon
- 125 grams of feta
- 2 red onions in rings
- some salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Optional : Sesame seeds or furikake for a nice looking and tasty edge
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees
- Roll out the puff pastry together with the baking paper on a baking tray
- Poke holes in the dough and brush it with the egg yolk that has already been beaten
- Bake the dough for about 15 minutes until it is cooked and let it cool
- Boil the asparagus briefly and let it cool down
- Cut the onions into nice rings
- Make beautiful florets of the salmon fillet if you are creative and handy in this, otherwise you will make beautiful slices
- Brush the cooled puff pastry with the herb cheese
- Sprinkle the arugula and the other ingredients over it
- Crumble the feta over the whole and serve with some lemon wedges.
- Cut it all into portions.
