20 cm frying pan for every household
The frying pan, with a diameter of 20 cm, is great for preparing meals for two people. At Cook and Pan, we use the Greenshield ceramic non-stick coating in all our frying pans, which is free of PFAS and Teflon . This non-stick coating not only promotes excellent cooking performance, but also a healthier and more user-friendly cooking experience.
Within the diverse range of Cook and Pan we also offer cast iron frying pans. However, it is important to know that these cast iron frying pans with an enamel non-stick coating are not available under our own brand. However, these pans are available in our range.
Differences between a ceramic non-stick coating and an enamel non-stick coating:
-
Hardness and Durability :
Ceramic: Strong and can resist scratches, but preferably not to be used with metal spatulas etc.
Enamel: More sensitive to scratches and losing small pieces with frequent intensive use.
-
Cooking performance :
Ceramic: Good non-stick performance, even heat distribution.
Enamel: Good non-stick performance, retains heat well.
-
Heat resistance :
Ceramic: Can withstand higher temperatures, suitable for oven use.
Enamel: May be damaged more easily, may crack under extreme temperature changes.
-
Maintenance :
Ceramic: Requires gentle care to prevent scratches. Dishwasher safe.
Enamel: Easier to clean and maintain, but still requires care.
