Pan does not work on induction, even though it is suitable for induction
All Cook and Pan pans are fully suitable for induction . However, it can sometimes happen that your pan does not seem to work on your induction hob. This can be due to the chosen cooking zone and the size of the pan.
Using the correct cooking zone
It is important to use a pan that fits the size of the cooking zone. Smaller pans can sometimes have problems, because induction hobs often provide less power in smaller zones. Always try to choose a slightly larger pan than the cooking zone, so that the heat is distributed well.
Is your pan not working?
If you are unsure whether your pan is suitable for induction, you can easily test this. Try the pan on an induction hob of your neighbours, for example, or use a magnet to check whether the base is magnetic. Does the magnet stick? Then your pan is suitable for induction! Again, all Cook and Pan pans are suitable for induction as standard.
Optimal performance
Sometimes it may seem like the pan is not working properly, this often has to do with the power that the hob delivers. Especially on smaller cooking zones this can be less than with larger ones, which can lead to slower heating. So make sure you choose the right cooking zone for the best cooking experience.
With these tips you are assured of optimal use of your Cook and Pan pans on any induction hob!
