Delicious fresh and airy sheet tart, perfect as the weather starts to get warmer. The great thing about sheet tart is that it’s super easy to make. You can customize a sheet tart completely to your liking and add your favorite treats. You can also combine a sheet tart with several dishes.
Ingrid is happy to explain how she makes her own sheet tart with tasty salmon, feta, and herb cream cheese. She is a true food lover and has years of experience in the kitchen. Ingredients Sheet Tart Salmon (4 people):
- 1 roll of fresh puff pastry or flammkuchen dough. Use the latter if you want your sheet tart a bit firmer.
- 125 grams herb cream cheese
- 100 grams asparagus tips
- 1 egg yolk, for brushing
- 200 to 250 grams salmon fillet, we prefer smoked salmon
- arugula
- 125 grams feta
- 2 red onions in rings
- some salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Optional: sesame seeds or furikake for a nice looking and tasty edge

Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees
- Roll out the puff pastry together with the baking paper on a baking tray
- Prick holes in the dough and brush it with the beaten egg yolk
- Bake the dough for about 15 minutes until cooked and let it cool down
- Briefly cook the asparagus and let cool
- Cut the onions into nice rings
- Make nice rosettes from the salmon fillet if you’re creative and handy, otherwise make nice slices
- Brush the cooled puff pastry with the herb cream cheese
- Sprinkle the arugula and the other ingredients on top
- Crumble the feta over everything and serve with some lemon wedges.
- Cut the whole into portions.
