Stuffed Pasta Shells - Tasty & Easy
A day of tasty and easy cooking! Everyone gets busy sometimes, and sometimes you just don’t have enough time to cook a big meal. This dish comes in handy then, it’s very simple to prepare and you only need 5 ingredients. These stuffed pasta shells are vegetarian, but of course you can also choose to make them with salmon or chicken.

Ingrid Beens-Goutier has years of kitchen experience, she loves sharing her own recipes and inspiring others. This tasty dish is from her as well, and she’s happy to explain how to prepare this easy meal:
You know that feeling… you don’t really have much time to cook, but you want to eat healthy and tasty? Then try this: Pasta shells stuffed with spinach, tomato sauce, mascarpone, and Parmesan. Easy food is great, but ideally you want it to be healthy and filling too. Stuffed pasta shells are perfect for that. You can make smaller portions, but if you’re looking for easy food for many people, this is also the way to go! Completely vegetarian and really delicious. Ingrid explains in detail how to make this easy and quick recipe.
What you need
- one bag of pasta shells, you’ll probably even have some left over
- 200 grams of spinach
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Large bottle of pasta sauce with herbs
- 400 grams mascarpone
- 150 grams Parmesan cheese

Preparation
- Put olive oil in a wok or large pan (Need a wok or large pan? Check out our wide range of pots and pans), let the spinach wilt in it
- When the spinach is ready, you can chop it up
- Add tomato sauce and warm it up together
- Cook the pasta shells until soft
- Place a layer of tomato spinach sauce (that you just made) in a large oven dish and put the soft cooked pasta shells on top
- Fill the cooked pasta shells with the rest of the sauce and top each shell with a spoonful of mascarpone
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the stuffed pasta shells
- Cover the oven dish with aluminum foil and put it in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.

Done! You now have a delicious vegetarian dish that barely took any time to prepare, and saved you a lot of effort.
Enjoy your meal!
