Sauté pan: fry, braise and make sauces in one pan

A sauté pan combines the best of a frying pan and a casserole pot. The straight, high sides catch everything without splattering and give you room to turn vegetables, meat or fish with a flick of the wrist. Whether you sauté, braise or reduce a sauce, this pan has you covered.

What do you use a sauté pan for?

A sauté pan is versatile enough for almost any dish that needs a little more volume or liquid. Think of:

  • Sautéing vegetables without half of them flying out of the pan.
  • Creamy risottos and pastas that need some room to come together.
  • Stews and curries, braised with the lid on.
  • Reducing sauces over a large surface for quick evaporation.
  • Cooking a big batch of scrambled eggs, omelette or pancakes.

Sauté pan on induction

All Cook & Pan sauté pans work on every heat source, induction included. The reinforced base keeps the pan from warping at high temperatures and spreads the heat evenly. No hotspots, no burnt edges.

PFAS-free sauté pan

Our sauté pans have a safe ceramic non-stick coating (GreenShield) or are made of pure stainless steel. No PFAS, no PTFE, no PFOA. Healthy cooking for you and your family, without worrying about what ends up in your food.

Which size sauté pan suits you?

The right size depends on how many people you usually cook for:

  • 24 cm: ideal for 2 or 3 people, or a quick solo meal with leftovers.
  • 28 cm: our best-selling size, right for a family of 4 or 5.
  • 30 cm or larger: for big cooks and frequent hosts.

Caring for your sauté pan

A good sauté pan lasts for years if you treat it with a little care. A few simple rules:

  • Don't use metal spatulas on the ceramic coating.
  • Let the pan cool down before you wash it.
  • A soft sponge and mild soap are all you need for everyday cleaning.
  • Never stack pans directly on top of each other without a protective cloth in between.
