Beautiful pans that actually work

From the very first use I noticed how high the quality is. They heat up quickly and evenly, so everything cooks perfectly without burning. Nothing sticks and cleaning really is a piece of cake. Cooking has become genuinely fun again. Absolutely a great buy!

The pans are fantastic and beautifully finished. The coating is so good that you need very little butter or oil. And most of the time the pan can simply be wiped clean with a tissue! Over a year that saves a lot of cooking fat, and water with a bit of washing-up liquid too.

What is PFAS and why is it harmful?

PFAS stands for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, a group of chemicals used for years in non-stick coatings. The problem: they do not break down in nature and they build up in your body. Research links PFAS to hormone disruption, liver damage and a weakened immune system. That is why we have deliberately chosen a coating without a single PFAS particle.

Are your products genuinely free of PFAS and other toxins?

Yes, and we have it tested independently. Our ceramic coating is completely free of PFAS, PFOA, PTFE, lead and cadmium, and certified to FDA and LFGB standards. You do not have to take our word for it: on every product page you will find the full independent test report.

Do I need oil to cook in them?

Far less than you are used to. A few drops or a small knob of butter is usually enough, and in many cases you can leave it out altogether. That saves calories and it is a good deal better for your heart. Want to give your dish extra flavour? Then a little fat is exactly right. You choose, your pan handles both.

What heat setting should I cook on?

Low to medium-high. Our pans conduct heat so efficiently that setting 5 or 6 (on a scale of 9) is almost always enough. Going higher burns your food and damages the coating. On induction: never above 80% and no boost function.

What makes your coating different, and what is it made of?

Our coating is made from minerals found in nature, think sand and quartz, plus aluminium oxide (the same material as in sapphires and rubies). No synthetic substances, no PFAS, no PFOA, no PTFE. It releases nothing into your food, not even at high temperatures. And there is one more thing: we deliberately go for a coating that is slightly less slippery than the norm. That is what gives meat and vegetables the golden-brown crust you miss in a Teflon pan.

Does this pan work on induction?

Yes, on every hob: induction, gas, ceramic, halogen and electric. One tip for induction: set it to 80% power at most and do not use the boost function. Our pans conduct heat so well that you simply do not need it, and it prevents warping and hotspots.

Can my pan go in the oven?

Yes, but mind the handle. Pans with a stainless steel handle can take up to 280°C, pans with a wood-look (bakelite) handle up to 180°C. Ideal for dishes that start on the hob and finish in the oven, such as a steak or a frittata.

Can my pan go in the dishwasher?

Yes, the pan is dishwasher safe. Would you rather wash it by hand? A quick hand wash with a soft sponge and a little washing-up liquid is faster, takes hardly any effort and keeps the coating looking good for longest. If you go for the dishwasher, avoid aggressive all-in-one tablets and the eco setting.

How do I get the best non-stick performance from my pan?

Three things.

Cook on low to medium heat, never on the highest setting. The coating works best if you let it heat up gently.
Use wooden or silicone utensils, no steel and no sharp edges.
Be patient with sticky dishes such as a fried egg. Is your food starting to stick? Wait 30 seconds and it will release by itself.

That keeps your non-stick performance as good as new for years.

How does the 60-day trial cooking period work?

You can try any pan for 60 days, even if you have already used it a few times. Go ahead and cook in it and see whether it suits you. Not satisfied? Send it back within 60 days in the original box through our returns portal and you will have your money back within a few days. A few marks from use are no problem.

How long is the warranty?

On all our aluminium pans we give a 7-year warranty against manufacturing and material defects. On top of that, the ceramic non-stick layer carries a 2-year warranty on its performance. The fact that we dare to give these terms says enough about how long we expect your pan to last.
